Michael Schuster appointed as new CEO of LKQ DACH and Chairman of the Management Board of STAHLGRUBER GmbH
Poing, Germany. Leadership change at LKQ DACH: effective April 1, 2025, Michael Schuster has taken over as Chairman of the Management Board of STAHLGRUBER GmbH. He is also the new CEO of LKQ DACH (press release).
The management team now consists of Michael Schuster (CEO LKQ DACH), Timothy Grygotis (CFO), and Julia von Specht (CHRO). Since January, Julia von Specht has been responsible for HR and Social Affairs as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Michael Schuster succeeds Frank Schöller, who, at his own request, stepped down from his role as CEO of LKQ DACH and Managing Director of STAHLGRUBER GmbH as of March 31, 2025. Schöller had coordinated his decision with LKQ Europe some time ago, ensuring a seamless transition to his successor. Schuster had already joined the company on February 1, 2025. It is planned that Frank Schöller will join the future German Supervisory Board in mid-2025.
Andy Hamilton, President and Executive Managing Director LKQ Europe, states:
“With the new leadership team, headed by Michael Schuster as CEO, we will continue to be the strongest and most reliable partner for our customers in the DACH region. I am very pleased that with Michael Schuster we are opening the next successful chapter for LKQ DACH. He brings with him a strong entrepreneurial track record from senior roles in major industrial companies. I value his expertise and experience in commercial excellence across industry and wholesale.”
“I would also like to sincerely thank Frank Schöller, whose leadership has played a decisive role in strengthening our position in this strategically important region. Under his leadership, LKQ DACH expanded its market leadership, advanced its digital capabilities, and reinforced its role as a key pillar for the success of LKQ Europe. I am delighted that we will continue to benefit from his profound expertise in the future German Supervisory Board.”
